Toccara Castleman is a multidisciplinary writer and actress from the South Side of Chicago who uses the lens of comedy to explore the themes of second acts, dreams deferred, and self discovery. Toccara was a collaborator on the Emmy® Award (Interactive Extension of a Linear Program, Mr. Robot Season 4, 2020) winning writing team for a USA Network augmented reality game; and creates work across a variety of mediums including theatre (Maybe a Mexican, I Don’t Want to Play Myself), digital media (NBCUniversal, TIME Inc.) and print journalism (UPTOWN Magazine, The Network Journal).
