Chicago Dramatists' hit production moves to the Royal George Studio Theatre!

Seasoned New York producers Frank Gero, Jono Gero and Ray Gaspard are teaming together to present the Chicago Dramatists’ critically acclaimed production of Keith Huff’s new play, A STEADY RAIN. The play that everyone in Chicago seems to be buzzing about will preview February 27, open March 4 and run through April 27 at the Royal George Studio Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted, Chicago. The highly praised cast and artistic team will remain the same.

The performance schedule for A STEADY RAIN is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $30 to $45. All tickets for police officers, firefighters and other uniformed personnel are $25 and available with the appropriate ID. Student and senior discounts are also available.

Synopsis: Love and rage on the streets of Chicago. Two seasoned cops find themselves caught up in a conflict between family and duty when a seemingly routine domestic disturbance call results in the death of a boy. When the horrific truth of the situation is revealed, one of the two must take the blame for the fatal mistake. Their childhood friendship is put to the test, and both men must deal with issues of honor, love and loyalty in the face of adversity.
