Join in an amazing conversation with award-winning playwright, TV producer/writer, and Chicago Dramatists Resident Alumnus Keith Huff to discuss his new play Tuxedo Terrace at a community event that offers artistic enrichment, fabulous food, drinks, and support for Chicago Dramatists.
Chicago Dramatists Associate Artists Peter DeFaria and Randy Steinmeyer plus long-time friend of Dramatists' Clare Cooney, will perform this inaugural reading.

Karl is a successful playwright/TV writer developing a new series with Carrie, an award-winning actress who stars in his current series. A STEADY RAIN, part of Keith’s cop trilogy, premiered at Chicago Dramatists under the direction of Russ Tutterow in 2007, where it won multiple Jeff Awards including Best New Work and Best Play, was remounted on Broadway in 2009, and has been performed around the globe. The trilogy also includes THE DETECTIVE’S WIFE and SIX CORNERS, the American Blues Theater production nominated for a Jeff Award for Best New Play in 2018. Keith’s served as a writer and producer on MAD MEN, HOUSE OF CARDS, HELIX, FULL CIRCLE, and AMERICAN CRIME. He won Writer’s Guild of America awards in 2011 and 2014 for episodes of MAD MEN and HOUSE OF CARDS and was nominated in 2017 for AMERICAN CRIME. He was nominated for Primetime EMMYs in 2013, 2015, and 2016 for HOUSE OF CARDS and AMERICAN CRIME.
