Solo Show & Storytelling Development Intensive
Instructor: Resident Playwright MT Cozzola
General Price $199
Prerequisite: Solo Show & Storytelling Fundamentals (or the Warrior Weekend), or permission of instructor
This workshop is for playwrights, actors, and storytellers with some story experience, who want to develop a solo show or long-form narrative. The focus is on personal stories, though you may also choose to work on a biographical or fictional piece.
Each week, you’ll have the opportunity to create and present work in progress, with the goal being to advance to production readiness--doing warmups and exercises intended to inspire and deepen your writing. In this intensive you will write hard, take risks, and listen big. Four sessions, with a break between classes 2 and 3, to facilitate additional writing and summer travel.
